'The Pentaverate'

DESCRIPTION: Mike Myers is back, yeah baby! The Pentaverate is a six-episode comedy series that acts as a spin-off of Myers’ 1993 romantic black comedy film So I Married an Axe Murderer. The show follows Ken Scarborough (Myers), a Canadian journalist on a self-appointed mission to expose the truth about a secret society called “The Pentaverate” in order to earn his job back. The titular group is a society of five men, all played by Myers (because he’s Mike frickin’ Myers!), who have collectively controlled the word and influenced global events since the Black Plague in 1347.
'Love, Death & Robots: Volume 3'

DESCRIPTION: Although this series is animated, returning fans will know that it is NOT meant for kids! Love, Death & Robots is an anthology series whose genre spans to include everything from dark comedy to sci-fi to horror, as displayed through 20-minute or less episodes that connect to at least one of the titular central themes of love, death, and/or robots. In this latest eight-episode season of the Emmy-winning series out of Tim Miller and David Fincher, uncanny worlds, violent delights, and twisted kicks await. Sounds like the makings of a striking season of TV!
'The G Word with Adam Conover'

And better to be up to the task than irreverent and insightful comedian, Adam Conover? Based Michael Lewis’s 2018 non-fiction book The Fifth Risk: Undoing Democracy, this blend of educational docuseries and amusing sketch-comedy is a great opportunity to learn more about our country and our capacity to affect it, all told through Conover’s clever and entertaining lens.
